Celticpaw walked quietly. She enjoyed the sun on her bright pelt. But then, she heard a noise that scared her. Twolegs were rampaging through the forest! Scared, she began running but a huge shiny web-like thing fell ontop of her. The twolegs picked it up with her now trapped inside and walked off. By the thunderpath, they put her in the belly of a monster with other animals and drove away.

Sunpaw ran through the forest with Lillyeyes. They stopped in a sunlit clearing. "Okay, Sunpaw," said Lillyeyes," I'm going to teach you how to hunt. First, is the hunter's crouch." Lillyeyes dropped into a crouch and smoothly glided forward. "Now you try," she told her son. Sunpaw tried, but he slipped, and fell to the ground with a crash. "That's how you suprise squish a mouse," Lillyeyes laughed. "Try again." Sunpaw did. "Perfect!" exclaimed Lillyeyes. "How about you try your skills on real prey? Remeber; with a rabbit, you have to be quiet, but with a mouse you have to be really light in your paws. Good luck!" Sunpaw lifted his head and tasted the air. "Mouse!" he said. He dropped into the hunter's crouch. Lightly, he told himself. "Get him!" hissed Lillyeyes. Sunpaw sprang and caught the mouse, biting its neck, and killing it. Sunpaw suspected that he shone with pride. "Yessssssssss!" he yowled. "Can I eat it?" Sunpaw asked Lillyeyes. She nodded, and Sunpaw tore into the prey, enjoying the sweet flavour of mouse. "All right, go hunting, get as much prey as you can, then meet me at Sunning Rocks. If you hurry, maybe we can practice battle training!" Sunpaw nodded and raced off to get prey.
